Texas: Check Your Freezers For Recalled Frozen Dinners That Could Choke You
When I saw the FDA recalled some of my favorite convenience foods, I had to rush to my freezer. I always have a Lean Cuisine on hand for those last-minute meal emergencies.
If you are like me, you'll want to check your freezer, too, as several varieties of Lean Cuisine could contain "the potential presence of wood-like material." Luckily my favorite turkey medallions were not on the list.
Nestle, the maker of Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's issued the recall after consumers contacted the company about the issue, including one person who experienced a choking incident.

If you have any of these items, you should check them against the specific lot codes and Best By dates that are affected by the recall. You can find them here. The recall does not affect any other variety or lots.
If you discover you have one of these items, do not eat it! Instead, return it for a refund or discard it. If you have any further questions, contact Nestle at 1-800 681-1676 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT Monday through Friday with any questions.
