You know that Texans love their Cowboys, but how much longer will Texas have to wait for a Super Bowl win?

I guess it's almost inaccurate to say "Texans Love The Cowboys" because the nickname, "America's Team" is a little more on point.

The Cowboys tend to stay popular regardless of their record or what's happening around the league. I do have to wonder at what point will the silver start start to lose its sheen, even among Texans.

It certainly seems like the last couple years the team and/or it's ownership haven't really put thier best foot forward when it comes to making off-season moves.

So, I'm not an expert on the Cowboys. I am probably the farthest thing you'll see from an expert. What I do though, is...observe. What I'm currently observing is a lack of excitement around the team, players they've signed, and so on.

Let's also not forget that instead of taking a new direction, the Cowboys fired their coach and promoted their offensive coordinator, Brian Schottenheimer. It's certainly possible that the new Coach is the greatest thing ever, but that will have to be proven during the season. Right now though, that coach is seen somewhat as part of a program that was not delivering.

Experts Put The Dallas Cowboys Below The Middle Of The Pack

So let's get the real experts, those guys who day in and day out make it their job to predict the upcoming season. As of this moment, their magic ball is showing a murky future for the Cowboys. Murky, may not even be the word, because they seem to think it's crystal clear that the Cowboys will not be in the Super Bowl. They have the Cowboys odds at +6600, tied for 18th place.  Just for reference, last year's champs, the Philadelphia Eagles, are now at +660 with BetMGM. Yes, there could be injuries to other teams, and a bit of luck on the Cowboys side, but right now, the smart money is NOT on the Cowboys.
