The easiest way to help out the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank is this Saturday and we have everything you need to know here.
Zachary Graham stopped by the studio to talk about the annual 'Stamp Out Hunger' food drive that is happening this Saturday. Since 1993, the United States Postal Service has partnered up with local food banks to collect donations right from people's mailboxes.
Zach Talks About How This is the Biggest Donation Day of the Year
Zach told me that 44,000 pounds of food were collected for food banks in our area last year alone. According to the Postal Service since they started doing the program they have collected 1.9 billion pounds of food. This is all you have to do to participate.
Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Participation
On Saturday you can place a bag of food near your mailbox and your mail carrier will take care of it for you. Like I said, this is the easiest donation day of the year because you don't even need to leave your street. The bag can be filled with non perishable food. Examples include canned goods, dried beans, pasta, and grains.

If you would like to clear out your pantry for Saturday, of course you can do that. If you're interested in picking things up the next few days that the food bank can always use more of. Zach recommends the following items.
