Texarkana Fast-Food Chain Has Closed Permanently
Texarkana fast-food chain Taco Bueno located on Mall Drive adjacent to Central Mall has closed its doors permanently.
Texarkana Taco Bueno Closed
A sign was posted on the establishment's front door and looking through the windows the table and chairs are all gone except for one booth near the entrance. Taco Bueno is known for its Tex-Mex fast food and has been in business for several years in Texarkana.
No other reasons were available for the closing, but it most certainly had to be a financial decision or an underperforming store.
In the past year, I noticed that the store seemed to be losing customers because no matter what time I drove by it, I didn't see many cars in the parking lot. I felt something was up because on Friday I stopped there to eat and was told the item I ordered was unavailable and that the whole batch was thrown out for not being good. The salsa didn't look fresh either so I stayed away from it. Let's say, my experience wasn't good and leave it there. However, that seems to be a reoccurring complaint from other customers who have said the quality of food and customer service had gone down.
It's not uncommon for Taco Bueno to close some of its stores, at one time they had locations in seven states. Today, you can still find Taco Bueno in Texas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma.
