Before she potentially throws her hat into the ring in the next presidential election, Hillary Clinton will have to avoid constituents who throw their shoe at her.

Clinton was speaking to a recycling group in Las Vegas on Thursday when someone threw a shoe at her.

Clinton managed to roll with the punches pretty well, joking, "My goodness, I didn't know solid waste management was so controversial."

The woman who tossed the footwear was apprehended. She was not part of the event and managed to get past security. It's not clear what exactly she was protesting.
