Why are people so stupid?

A group of oil workers in North Dakota found themselves in close proximity to a tornado the other day.

Instead of jumping in the car and hauling ass in the opposite direction, these guys did nothing. Absolutely nothing. They just stood there, laughing their stoner laugh and recording the destruction.

In their defense, though, they did get in a car at one point.

That'll protect them.
