Free Beer & Hot Wings: Marky Mark the Squirrel Comes When His Rescuer Calls [Video]

There's a squirrel in Austin, Texas that may be a little smarter than all of the other squirrels.

Marky Mark, a name given because he was the "Lone Survivor" of a fire, is that smart squirrel.

After being rescued from a fire by a man who wants to remain anonymous (because rescuing squirrels is apparently illegal in Austin), Marky Mark was nursed back to health.

Once he was good and healthy, he remained in the area and took up residence in a tree in his rescuer's front yard.

Marky Mark hasn't forgotten his rescuer. He now comes down from his nest when his name is called, KTBC Fox 7 reports.
