Just when you think things are going well in life, Mother Nature reminds you that she's the boss.

Watch as this elderly couple in Canada near Edmonton, Alberta, is just driving down the highway, minding their own business.

Mother Nature didn't take too kindly to that, so she decided to rain down hellfire in the form of a lightning bolt. Shockingly, the couple was fine, but the lightning caused their vehicle's airbags to deploy and also blew two big holes in the road!

Mother Nature can be a real cold-hearted b***h sometimes.
