Gender cakes are all the rage these days.

If you're not familiar with them, here are the basics.

• A couple that is expecting a baby purposely does not find out the gender of their baby.
• The doctor finds out the sex and relays the info to a baker, who then bakes a blue cake for a boy or pink cake for a girl.
• The cake is then iced, so the inner color is hidden.
• The couple then invites friends and family over, cuts the cake and finds out of they'll be having a baby boy or girl.

This couple, who already has three kids, did a gender cake reveal of their own.

The little boy was really hoping for a brother, but things didn't go according to plan for him.
