Free Beer & Hot Wings: 1,000-Robot Swarm Is Hot Wings’ Biggest Nightmare [Video]

For many years, Hot Wings has had a theory that robots will one day take over the world.

Well now, this computer scientist at Harvard University is making Hot Wings' dream a reality.

Michael Rubenstein has figured out how to program 1,024 tiny robots, or kilobots, to maneuver themselves into various two-dimensional shapes.

These kilobots are only a few centimeters wide.

Apparently this means big things for science and tech, but we're not really sure why.
