Free Beer & Hot Wings: Reporter Gets Stuck in Mud; Has to be Rescued [Video]

Last week, a field reporter doing a story managed to be the subject of his story after sinking knee-deep into mud and making a fool of himself.

As he was reporting about low water levels in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Jeff Smith decided to take a leap into the waterless lake bed at a marina and got himself in a bit of a mucky situation.

Thankfully, he was soon rescued by a co-worker. Good thing because how would people get their lake-level updates if this guy never made it out alive?
