While he plays everything from Gibson Les Pauls to Jackson Flying Vs, his collection of axes stands out when he picks up his ESP custom guitars. So it should come as no surprise to anyone that his custom guitars display his other passion besides Metallica: horror movies.

With his horror collection making its public debut in his new book Too Much Horror Business, we thought it'd be fun to take a look at the guitars that represent his passion for horror memorabilia. From representing movies like The Mummy and White Zombie, Hammett covers the field of classic horror flicks with his guitars. It's his personal way of combining the two biggest passions in his life, Metallica and scary movies.

When he takes the stage, if he didn't already stand out with his face-melting shredding skills, he definitely makes a statement with his gorgeous guitars.
