Doctor Who Treated Girl With Brain Tumor Will Walk Her Down the Aisle
You only wish more doctors had this kind of bond with their patients.
In this video from 2012, which is only now trending, Dr. Alex Levy, of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, recalls the harrowing story of a girl named Chloe who came in violently ill on Christmas Eve only to discover she had a brain tumor.
After several surgeries and bouts of chemotherapy, Chloe does not appear to have the tumor anymore and is living the life of a normal girl her age. Her father, who was so scared he wouldn't be able to walk his little girl down the aisle at her wedding, is so grateful that he told the doctor he planned to let him do the honors when that day comes.
It's an incredibly moving gesture and an incredibly moving video. Don't be surprised when the tears start flowing -- you've been warned.
