Dez Bryant Wants Back With the Cowboys
Remember when Dez Bryant said he was going to have multiple offers from Super Bowl contending teams?
Remember when Dez Bryant passed on a multi-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens?
Remember when Dez Bryant visited the Cleveland Browns and was on Hard Knocks?
Remember when Dez Bryant was tweeting about playing for the New England Patriots?
Well, yes. This has all happened since the Dallas Cowboys cut Dez Bryant. But now it looks like Dez wants back with the team that he has spent his entire NFL career with. At least, that would be his preference according to a tweet.
If Bryant were to become a Cowboy again, he'd have to take much less money than he was making before. And it's not like the Cowboys can't use the help. Ezekiel Elliott leads the team in targets with 22. Then it's Cole Beasley with 21, Geoff Swaim with 16, and Allen Hurns with 14.
But there's always the issue that lots of people believe Dez has lost a step and isn't a number one wide receiver anymore, and that he might not be beneficial for Dak Prescott. Well, Prescott hasn't looked all that great this year, with a QB rating of just 85.2, throwing just 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
