We all got sad news last Friday when we found out Cody Johnson was sick and was going to have to cancel his show Friday night at the Horseshoe and Saturday night in Amarillo. He told everyone in a social media post that he would reschedule the show as soon as possible. He kept his word and it didn't take long for his team to work out the details.

Here is the official statement:

Cody Johnson was scheduled to play the Horseshoe Amphitheater to a sold out crowd on Friday, April 22, 2022. After receiving medical attention in Midland for a sore throat and congestion, it became apparent that he would not be capable of delivering his passionate, power packed performance to his fans. Cody released a video stating “I hope you guys understand how much this job means to me and how much I feel I am letting you down.”

The great news is this sold out concert is rescheduled for Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.  Your original ticket for the April 22nd date will be honored on August 4th. Anyone who purchased a ticket(s) and is unable to attend the rescheduled concert may receive a full refund by logging onto to shttps://www.etix.com/ticket/online/help2.jsp or e mail trogers@mcounty.com or by calling 432-682-1300. Refunds will be granted until 4 p.m. May 12, 2022.

Way go to  Cody! So glad you are feeling better!

Cody Johnson is coming off the heels of his first national number one single with "Til You Can't" and he also just received two CMT Awards, and since they are fan-voted, I think it is safe to say Cody Johnson is a fan favorite. He also recently sold out the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo making him one of only three artists to sell out the opening night.
