I can remember so many teachers that had a great impact on me through my school years into my adulthood. My shout-out is to Mrs. Marbury from the 6h grade at Crosby Jr. High in El Paso, Texas. Wow, what an impact she had on me. She was the very first teacher that really got my attention as far as me noticing how much she really cared about the success of all of us, students. She used to write 'YOU ARE LOVED' on all our papers and on the chalkboard. At first, I didn't pay much mind to it but then as I kept seeing this message, it finally hit me. She cares about us. She wants us to succeed. And, she is putting WORTH on us. And, that meant so much. I took that message of 'YOU ARE LOVED' with me throughout the rest of my studies and it was always a JOLT of motivation for me. Thank you Mrs. Marbury and Yes ...you are loved! Teachers ROCK!
