At least 50 people have been confirmed dead after a shooting during a country concert in Las Vegas.

A massive shooting during a Las Vegas concert last night has seen the death toll rise dramatically from 2 dead to tragically over a 50, with over a two hundred people injured. The mass shooting happened during the Route 91 Harvest open-air concert outside of the Mandalay Bay hotel. According to the Las Vegas Sun, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo says the shooter shot at the strip and the crowd form the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino. He is now deceased and is being identified as 64 year-old Stephen Paddock from Mesquite, Nevada. Sheriff Lombardo also said that they believe Paddock was the "sole actor, a lone wolf type actor." Police were also looking for a female companion, Marilou Danley, of Asian decent.

Among the deceased from the shooting are two off-duty police officers, as well as 2 other off-duty officers that were shot. One of those officers shot is currently in critical condition.
