Alter Bridge Sign to Napalm Records Ahead of New Album
Alter Bridge are getting all their ducks in a row before returning with new music. The band has been working on their fifth studio album, and now have a new label deal in place for when the disc is ready to drop. They've signed to Napalm Records.
"We are pleased to announce we will be joining forces with Napalm Records as we embark on the next phase of our journey. We are very excited to see what the future brings and look forward to reconnecting with our fans in 2016,” states Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy.
Thomas Caser, CEO of Napalm Records, adds, “This is a ground-breaking signing for our label. To work with one of the best and biggest Rock acts of our times marks a new time-bill for us. We will go above and beyond to make the upcoming album the huge success it deserves!"
The band has reunited with producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette for the disc. Baskette has overseen production of all of Alter Bridge's albums with the exception of their debut, One Day Remains. Earlier this year, the band started a campaign in support of the new album with Fret 12 that offered a number of special fan incentives. Check that out here. At present, the band is eyeing a fall release date for the new album, though an official street date has yet to be confirmed.
Alter Bridge are expected to break from the studio next month when they begin touring. The band will spend a portion of their summer on tour with headliners Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin. Dates can be found here.
