Over the past few months there have been reports that Adler have been working on new music, and now the band has unveiled their first live dates in more than two years.

Adler will play three Midwest shows in June, including a date with Queensryche in St. Louis on June 20. They have a gig in West Hollywood, Calif. on July 10, and later that month make their first ever trip to South America for three shows in Peru. Then at the end of August the band will play a show in Uncasville, Ct. For all the dates, see below.

The drummer formed his self-titled band in 2011 and recorded a disc called Back From the Dead. But not long into promotion of the disc, Adler's band canceled a tour after the drummer checked himself into rehab. The group had been mostly quiet ever since, but there were rumblings late last year the Adler was not only approaching a year of sobriety, but that new music was in the offing.

In a recent interview, vocalist Jacob Bunton talked about a recent studio session with Jeff Pilson where they recorded a new song.

“We went back in the studio and did one song,” Bunton says. “[We're] just kind of taking baby steps right now. The song is finished, but it’s gotta get mixed and mastered. But I don’t know if we’re planning on doing just that song, or doing an EP, or doing a record, or doing whatever. We are gonna do some shows; not a big tour and stuff like that, because, you know, we’re just gonna see how it goes.”

Adler have more tour dates in the works, which we will pass along as soon as they are released.
