ZZ Top and Gregg Allman have expanded their respective travel plans to join up for a co-headlining tour that will keep them on the road throughout late summer and into the fall.

The acts' run of shows together starts Aug. 16 in Huber Heights, Ohio, and is currently scheduled to last until Oct. 7, when they're booked to play their final show in Las Vegas. They'll travel coast to coast in between, although the dates will be broken up by a handful of concerts without Allman on the bill.

"The history with ZZ Top and Gregg Allman together goes way back to around the time the earth cooled," enthused ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons. "The double lineup makes for a killer combination, so buckle up and let's have a party! Rock on!"

This latest batch of dates expands an already-busy schedule for both artists. ZZ Top's 2016 Hell Raisers Tour started March 18, and Allman's touring plans for the year include a handful of co-headlining shows with Peter Frampton. Check out the most recently announced concerts below.
