The details for Wovenwar's debut album have finally been revealed. After As I Lay Dying imploded due to vocalist Tim Lambesis' murder-for-hire case, a new group was created by the instrumental section of the pinnacle metalcore act. The new band's self-titled effort will drop on Aug. 5.

After Lambesis pleaded guilty to murder-for-hire charges, Wovenwar officially announced its inception. Lambesis has since been sentenced to six years in prison for attempting to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife.

Featuring Oh, Sleeper's Shane Blay on vocals, Wovenwar signed with Metal Blade Records to continue on outside of the As I Lay Dying name. The band has since released the single 'All Rise' and has been confirmed to play alongside Black Label Society and Kyng on a U.S. summer tour.

Along with the 'Wovenwar' album release date, the new song 'The Mason' has been revealed exclusively through Metal Blade's official website. Pre-order bundles have also been unveiled, including different shirts along with the physical CD.
