I know this has been big news over the holiday weekend, but I am curious on a more local level as to what your thoughts on this are.

I am referring to the incident at the Cincinnati Zoo involving the little boy and the gorilla, Hirambe. If you have been living under a rock, a little boy managed to make his way over a fence and fall into the gorilla enclosure at which time the gorilla was dragging the little boy in the water in the enclosure and the ultimate outcome was that the Cincinnati Zoo made the decision to shoot the gorilla to protect the child's life.

So here is where I am at with this, whose fault does it lie on or does it lie with anyone?  It's easy to criticize the zoo for their actions but I don't think many of us are educated enough to second guess the zoo and their actions, and even though I choose to keep all of my opinions out of this article, can we blame the mother of the child?  If you were the individual making the decisions what would you do?  There could be a lot of variables at play here and what I would like to know is what is your opinion on this?  This is where I give you a forum to express yourself
