We are just about a week away from the start of the NFL season, and two quarterbacks who will be in the spotlight are Robert Griffin III and Colin Kaepernick. Which one will have the bigger year?

Last season, RGIII led the Washington Redskins to their first division title since 1999. He also set the records for highest passer rating by a rookie quarterback and best touchdown-to-interception ratio. Griffin is slated to start for the Redskins in their opener on September 9, despite dealing with injuries that hobbled him in the playoffs last year.

Colin Kaepernick was a huge surprise to just about everyone last season. After coming off the bench for an injured Alex Smith, he took firm control of the starting quarterback job for the remainder of the season. He led the 49ers to an NFC title and then came just a few points short of taking down the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl.
