The 2013 NFL season is about to get under way, and two teams have announced that rookies will start at the quarterback position. So who will perform better?

E.J. Manuel was the 16th pick in round one of the 2013 NFL draft. While at Florida State, Manuel led his team to a 12-win season, only the third in the program's history. The Buffalo Bills announced that he will get the start in Week 1 against the New England Patriots.

In the same division, the New York Jets are also giving a rookie QB a go. Geno Smith was drafted in round two and won the starting spot over veteran, and troubled, quarterback Mark Sanchez. While at West Virginia Smith tied the NCAA completion-percentage record with 95.8 percent in his final regular-season game.
