Where Has The Big Chief Tablet Gone?

With the start up of school looming all the retail outlets have begun the early stock up of essential school supplies and through my recent retail travels I have not encountered the ever essential Big Chief tablet.

Does the Big Chief tablet even truly exist  in the retail world any longer?  Oh sure we would never write the size Big Chief taught us to but it did teach us to write!

It seems this elusive school supply has become a thing of myth to those of a different generation but mentioned to the right age group it will harken you back to a simpler time when we could write our cursive as big as we wanted to, it seems the Big Chief tablet has sailed off into the sunset with the even more elusive Trapper Keeper.

Oh the Trapper Keeper, that is a story for a different day!
