Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Nelson, George Strait, LeAnn Rimes and Grupo Fantasma have all had had the chance to partner up with the Texas Department of Transportation's in an effort to share the very important message of litter prevention. How would you like to join their ranks? Well you can! TxDOT is launching a contest to find it's new song for their 'Don't Mess With Texas' campaign. Any Texas resident aged 18 and up is invited to submit an original 30 second song that incorporates the campaigns anti-litter message. Through a public voting period, an English and a Spanish winner will be selected. The winner will be featured in a "Don"t Mess With Texas" television spot and will have the opportunity to perform at a iHeart Radio station music lounge and a brand new 2018 Gibson Guitar. The contest runs now through October 10th. Contest rules can be found at Dontmesswithtexas.org.
