Two Chinese Men Tried to Sell Their Kidneys For the New iPhone 6s

I want the new iPhone as much as anyone else, but not to the lengths these guys were gonna go to get one.

According to The Independent, two friends in China are in the news, because they really wanted the new iPhone 6s.

Their names are Wu and Huang, and we don't know much about their personal details.  But we do know that they didn't have enough money to purchase the new device.

So they came up with a plan, they would sell their kidneys in order to buy a couple of phones.  Apparently that's pretty common in China, because the rate of organ donation is low, so that means there is a black market.

They set up a meeting with a guy online to sell their organs illegally, and he arranged some medical tests at a hospital.  But when they showed up on Saturday to do the deal, the guy bailed out on them.

Then it gets even more shady. apparently Wu lost his nerve, and decided a new phone wasn't worth giving up half his body's ability to filter blood.  But Huang still wanted that phone and kept going with the plan.

So Wu called the police to stop the sale, maybe he came to his senses and wanted to protect his buddy?  The only bad thing is, Huang ran away and hasn't been seen since.
