Tregedy Strikes Midland

The outpouring of funds from the deadly train accident Thursday afternoon is overwhelming.

The show of support from the community in times of tragedy never ceases to amaze me and make me proud to be a citizen of Midland, the Permian Basin, Texas and America.  When there is a need, we always step up and do our best to help those with needs.  At the time of this post over $85,000 has been raised for the victims of the Hunt For Heroes Parade tragedy.  Thanks to everyone who has stepped up and we will once again be taking donations Saturday from 10am-1pm at the Wal-Mart on Midland Drive and Loop 250 for those who did not get the chance to give today.  Also donations are always welcome at Complex Community Federal Credit Union branches in Midland, Odessa, and Andrews.
