So two tragic tornado anniversaries happened yesterday, the one close to our part of the country in Saragosa, TX, an F4 that took the lives of 30 and injured 100 and the F5 tornado that devastated Joplin, MO, taking the lives of over 160 people.

Having grown up in the Midwest, I am personally not afraid of tornadoes, I have respect for them but do not fear them, but on the other hand I have never personally had my home torn apart around me while huddling with my loved ones.

I have observed this over the last few years and that the frequency and strength of tornadoes have certainly increased. It seems that there was a time that the only tornado you would ever hear about was somewhere in the middle of the country taking out the odd farmhouse. I do know that those who have gone through the tragic event of a tornado are effected for the entirety of their lives. With that being said have you ever had an experience with the power of a tornado?
