He’s always wanted to be a DJ, but we recently sat down with him to learn more about the latest addition to KBAT:
Movies are big business these days so if you could cast yourself for a Hollywood movie, what would it be and who you want to co-star with you?
“I would want to portray Tommy Lee of Motley Crue and have the movie mainly focus on the famous video of him and Pamela Anderson, and she could play the role of herself.”
While there are a lot of people that wouldn’t mind that, if you weren’t in radio, what do you think would be doing as a career?
“TXDOT. I worked for them for 10 years and radio was a part time gig until I went full time. Horns Up for TXDOT!!!!”
What if you could win the lottery? What would you do with that much money?
“Straight up. I would spend it on the biggest concert in Texas history, with it being a free show with all of my favorite bands. But, I would probably spent it on booze.”
What are some of your favorite singers or bands?
“Some of my favorites are Jim Morrison/ The Doors, Corey Taylor/ Slipknot/ Stone Sour, Cristian Machado/Ill Nino, Scott Ian Lewis/Carnifex, Myke Terry/ Formerly of Bury Your Dead and about 1,000 others!”
Do you have any favorite movies?
“Natural Born Killers, The Harry Potter Series and just about any live concert DVD!”
What about the small screen? What TV shows would your friends be surprised you watch?
“The Real House Wives of Atlanta. Team Kenya All Day!”
Look around and everyone is on their phone. What are some of the phone apps you can’t get through the day without checking?
“Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the Metal Blade App.”
Any pet peeves we should know about?
“People that don’t know how to swear properly.”
On a more personal note, what is the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
“I’m not really sure about embarrassing, but I did get my butt kicked by my mom when I was 18-years-old in front of all my high school friends. (Laughs).”
Come on, you have to have a crazy story. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
“I dropped $1,700 at a bar in one night, and I have the receipt to prove it!”
Final question. Who is the most important person in your life?
“I don’t have just one person, all my family and friends that I have been blessed with, with them I would be in a dumpster somewhere.”
