The Flash may be streaking across the big screen soon enough If certain recent rumors are to be believed, but The CW's 'Arrow' spinoff 'The Flash' will beat them all to the punch with a new series this fall. And while the most recent clip introducing the series gave us a look at the S.T.A.R. Labs team supporting Barry (Grant Gustin) the latest look at the CW's scarlet speedster series is all about the man himself.

Once again introduced by series star Tom Cavanagh (Dr. Harrison Wells), the latest clip from 'The Flash' shows Barry discovering the full extent of his abilities after a lightning strike left him in a coma for 9 months. Cavanagh makes clear that the S.T.A.R. Labs team initially only wants to discover the secret behind Barry's abilities, though the dynamic soon becomes something much more heroic (or sinister?).

Greenlit for (at least) 13 episodes, ‘The Flash’ boasts among its cast Danielle Panabaker’s Caitlin Snow and Carlos Valdes’ Cisco Ramon, alongside Candice Batton as Iris West, daughter to Jesse L. Martin’s Detective West, ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ star Rick Cosnett as Central City Police transfer Detective Eddie Thawne, and original ‘Flash’ star John Wesley Shipp as Barry’s father Henry Allen.

We'll have more on 'The Flash' as we approach Comic-Con 2014, but in the meantime, take a look at the latest clips from the CW series above, and tell us what you want to see from the fall's 'Arrow' spinoff in the comments!
