As you heard today at Noon, we honored the man, who passed away just recently, that gave the Midland/Odessa area Endless Horizons.  Tom Logan opened Endless Horizons in 1975 and at one time had a location in Midland located on Meta Drive close to what is now Gold's Gym on Illinois and Andrews Hwy.  That is where, in 1977 at age 11, I bought my first 8-Track tape of Boston's debut album.

Three years later I bought my first concert ticket to see Head East at the Ector County Coliseum.  I bought several cloth tapestries of various rock bands also and have 2 of those tapestries in my office on the wall as I type this.

If you have lived here in Midland/Odessa all your life like me then you have bought music or concert tickets at Endless Horizons.  So with that in mind, what was your first, or most memorable, album or concert ticket you bought at Endless Horizons?  Use the comment section below.
