If you’ve been listening to me more than a week you know I’m a huge true crime enthusiast.  Not an enthusiast for the committing of crimes but the research and storytelling through media such as television shows, documentaries and podcasts.  I’m always on the lookout for a new podcast to listen to but with the kind of back ground in audio I have it’s hard for me to find one that meets all the standards I’ve grown to expect and that has the right kind of chemistry between the host/hosts.  You could say I’m a bit of a podcast snob, go ahead, say it….I’m fine with it.  I try to give at least five to seven minutes of a listen to any new podcast I’m thinking about listening to.  That’s more than enough time for me to decide if I’m going to like it or not.  So I’m scrolling through my ridiculously long list of true crime podcasts on my list and stop on one called “True Crime Guys”.  As soon as I heard the theme song I had one of those “Most Interesting Man in the World” moments where I just nodded to myself and said “Well played fellas, well played”.  Naturally I had to offer my humble praise for the cleverness of their theme song because when you’re in an industry like this hearing that someone appreciates what you’re doing is always a huge bonus and gives you all the feels.  So they responded in kind and it was super cool of them.  If you’re into true crime podcasts give them a listen.  You can find them on pretty much any of the podcast “hubs” out there, podbean, stitcher ect… there guys that have a true crime podcast…. You can figure out the title with that, it’s only three words…and the cover is a black and white of a guys face with a beard facing forward next to the profile of the same face right next to it.  Here it is.
