Last fall, Soundgarden played one of their more spirited shows in Los Angeles during the group's recent 'King Animal' trek, and luckily, the cameras were there to catch it. The band's blistering set will appear on the upcoming season of the long-running series, 'Live From the Artists Den.'

Soundgarden have unplugged their instruments a few times in recent weeks and one such performance recently took place at Los Angeles radio station KROQ as frontman Chris Cornell and bassist Ben Shepherd teamed up for a pair of acoustic performances highlighting their past and present.

Legendary indie-rock label Sub Pop will be staging their 25th anniversary show, dubbed the 'Silver Jubilee,' on July 13 in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood and some of the acts that have helped grow the label have signed on to take part. Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has teamed up with Gibson to design two special edition guitars for the company that will be made available for purchase this April.

Soundgarden are getting in on the Record Store Day (April 20) fun by releasing a limited edition vinyl featuring their 'King Animal' demos. This will be the first time these recordings have been available together on one release and will give listeners a peek at how some of the material from their recent album sounded early on.
