Queensryche's Geoff Tate asked for harsh critiques of his new album and he got plenty of response. Tate recently launched a contestasking for people who hated the 'Frequency Unknown' album to videotape a rant of how much disdain they had for the disc and he would film himself reacting to their rants and post it online for the world to see...

Former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing recently took to his official blog to write about his personal contribution to Geoff Tate's Queensryche's new album, 'Frequency Unknown.' Much criticism and controversy is currently whirling around the head of Tate, and Downing addresses his reasoning for the new collaboration, along with a funny story about nearly being killed by a couch.

After last month's announcement that Queensryche had signed with Century Media Records, the version of the band that's now fronted by Todd La Torre has revealed the album will be self-titled and is set for a June 25 release.

A little constructive criticism never hurts, but Geoff Tate is ready to confront some full-on hate head-on with a new contest. The Queensryche frontman and his reconstructed lineup are now promoting their latest effort, 'Frequency Unknown,' and have launched an interesting competition in which they're challenging haters to stand up for their opinion and film a rant about the album.

Although their start has been a bit of a tumultuous one, it appears to be onward and upward for Queensryche in 2013. Getting the ball rolling, the band just inked a new deal with Century Media Records. With a tentative release date of June 11, their new disc will mark the first recorded and delivered by the latest lineup featuring new singer Todd La Torre. The vocalist replaced original singer Geo

Geoff Tate has yet to play his first gig with his newly created Queensryche lineup and already he's down one member. Tate revealed earlier this year that former Megadeth and King Diamond guitarist Glen Drover would be part of his version of the band, but Drover has just announced his exit.
