A little constructive criticism never hurts, but Geoff Tate is ready to confront some full-on hate head-on with a new contest. The Queensryche frontman and his reconstructed lineup are now promoting their latest effort, 'Frequency Unknown,' and have launched an interesting competition in which they're challenging haters to stand up for their opinion and film a rant about the album.

Todd La Torre-Fronted Queensryche Sign With Century Media Records

Although their start has been a bit of a tumultuous one, it appears to be onward and upward for Queensryche in 2013. Getting the ball rolling, the band just inked a new deal with Century Media Records. With a tentative release date of June 11, their new disc will mark the first recorded and delivered by the latest lineup featuring new singer Todd La Torre. The vocalist replaced original singer Geoff Tate, who is now manning his own incarnation of the band.

Guitarist Glen Drover Leaves Geoff Tate's Queensryche Lineup

Geoff Tate has yet to play his first gig with his newly created Queensryche lineup and already he's down one member. Tate revealed earlier this year that former Megadeth and King Diamond guitarist Glen Drover would be part of his version of the band, but Drover has just announced his exit.
