Killswitch Engage

2013 has been a great year for Killswitch Engage. It's the band's first full year with vocalist Jesse Leach back in the lineup, and with Leach, Killswitch released 'Disarm the Descent' and embarked on some awesome tours. To cap off the year, Killswitch Engage have been nominated for a 2014 Grammy, with Leach announcing his excitement in a press release.

The 56th annual Grammy Awards announced the nominees for all category's in music the other night and it was pretty cool seeing the nominees for "Best Metal Performance" and you can see who they are right here.

Metal may not get the wealth of recognition that other genres receive, but the big category that every metalhead music fan should be paying attention to is the Best Metal Performance category. The nominees for the 2014 Grammy Awards were just announced and there's a diverse group of acts populating the category.

When it comes to interviews there is time needed to prepare for questions to ask and what not but when it comes down to it, we all want to know what Adam D and Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage prefer cheeseburgers or hamburgers.

Since the release of their new album ‘Disarm the Descent,’ Killswitch Engage have been touring nonstop. New York City fans will get a special treat on Oct. 12 when the major metal act plays an intimate show at the tiny Santos Party House as part of the second annual CBGB Festival.

I am very disappointed that I missed Killswitch Engage when they played in Austin, Texas a few weeks ago, but thankfully we have the internet and we can check out the entire of performance of the Hampton Beach, New Hampshire here!

Howard Jones the former lead singer of Killswitch Engage has formed a new band entitled Devil You know and will be recording their debut album.

Killswitch Engage are kicking off their 'Disarm the Descent' tour tomorrow (May 30) at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City, Okla., and they intend to do something for those affected by the recent tornados that ravaged the state. The group has announced that they are donating a portion of proceeds from the night's ticket sales to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

As I told you Killswitch Engage will be in Austin, Texas at the end of the this month, and were suppose to perform with As I Lay Dying, but with the recent allegations with Tim Lambesis AILD will not be able to make. So who will fill in on the dates I have your answer here!
