Former Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward has struggled with a few health issues lately, but the man is healing up and will soon sit behind the kit once again. In a new update from Ward himself, the drummer writes about shoulder surgery, contracting perforated diverticulitis, rehab and when exactly he plans on being back.

If you thought the Osbournes had a nice house, you should see where Tony Iommi lives. According to the Birmingham Post, the Black Sabbath guitarist has put his Lapworth, Warwickshire, home on the market and the residence is reportedly going for a cool £2.6 million, which is about $4.3 million in U.S. currency.

Most people in their mid-60s are thinking about retirement, but Black Sabbath are riding a wave of popularity and nonstop activity thanks to the success of last year's album '13.' The disc was so well received that fans want to know if and when the band will record another album.

Black Sabbath have been fairly non-committal about their next album, choosing to be cautious rather than pinning down specific plans, but those hoping for more music after the '13' success story can get a little excited about comments they made at the Grammy Awards, where they won the trophy for Best Metal Performance ('God Is Dead?').

You may have seen a TV ad (watch above) for the upcoming movie '300: Rise of an Empire' and heard a familiar song. It's Black Sabbath's classic tune 'War Pigs.' The track gets even more exposure starting at the 1:10 mark in the theatrical trailer for the film (watch below).

For fans who like to get their music online, iTunes is one of the leading providers, but even the download giant has a few noticeable gaps in their catalog. One of those gaps has now been filled as for the first time, the full catalog from the original Black Sabbath lineup is now available digitally.
