Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged Sevenfold are starting to map out their 2013 plans that includes the likely release of a new album and a return to the road. One of the major stops on their upcoming itinerary will be at the Rock in Rio festival, which has become a favorite stopping place over the years.

There's lots of activity in the Avenged Sevenfold camp right now. The band released the new song 'Carry On' for 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II,' and the boys even make an appearance in the game, post-credits, as an animated A7X, playing the song. There may have been questions at one point as to whether or not Avenged Sevenfold would continue after supporting the 'Nightmare' disc as a tribute to late drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, but the band is definitely progressing toward a new album.

Video game fans have been anxiously awaiting the release of 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II,' which hits shelves tomorrow (Nov. 13). It was previously announced that Avenged Sevenfold's song 'Carry On' would be part of the game's soundtrack, but now we've learned the band makes an appearance in the game, as well.
