Alter Bridge are winding down for the holidays but not before leaving fans with a little video memento to digest from their recent European tour. The group has just issued a new four-and-a-half minute clip that pulls together outtakes from behind the scenes of their Euro trek, showing some of the silliness that goes on when they're not onstage.

Get ready, Alter Bridge are ready to rock the United States! The band has just announced initial dates for its spring U.S. tour. They've also booked shows in Japan to go along with their previously announced Soundwave run in Australia and string of festivals in Europe.

As Alter Bridge march toward the Oct. 8 release date for their upcoming disc ‘Fortress,’ the band has unveiled the first single ‘Addicted to Pain’ and are currently working on the video for the song with award winning director Dan Catullo.

After recently revealing the cover art and track listing for their latest album, 'Fortress,' Alter Bridge have now released the disc's first single, 'Addicted to Pain.' Fans can now get a taste of the material from their fourth album, which set to be released Oct. 8.

Earlier this year, Alter Bridge announced that they had begun work on their fourth studio album, and now the band is offering up all the juicy details surrounding their upcoming release. The 13-song disc, titled ‘Fortress,’ will make its debut on Oct. 8.

It has been well over two years since Alter Bridge's last album 'ABIII.' But after a tweet last month from bassist Brian Marshall about writing new songs and news from guitarist Mark Tremonti that pre-production had begun, we're now getting confirmation that recording has started...

These are busy times for Mark Tremonti. The guitarist extraordinaire is balancing two projects, currently working in the studio with Alter Bridge while trying to keep the momentum of his solo self-titled band still going during their downtime. Tremonti offered a pair of status updates, one in written and the other in video form, on both of his acts.

Alter Bridge's members have set aside all of their other projects and are currently in the midst of writing for their next record. The group has yet to reveal when their fourth studio album will arrive in stores, but given the discussion of a fall tour, it's likely that a late summer / early fall street date will eventually be revealed.

Alter Bridge may be working on a new album this year, but it looks like fans will have a chance to reflect on the band's past before the new disc drops. The group revealed in a posting at their website that a new box set is in the works for a May release.
