Survey Says: Which Jobs Are More Likely to Drive You to Drink?

You think your job sucks? Well maybe it does and will drive you to drink or do drugs if its any of the following jobs.

According to the Washington Post, the government just released data on which jobs have the highest percentage of people who drink heavily and get high.

The five jobs with the highest concentrations of heavy drinkers are:

• Mining
• Construction
• Hotels and restaurants
• Arts and entertainment
• Utilities.

The five with the most drug users are:

• Hotels and restaurants
• Arts and entertainment
• Management
• Information
• Construction

There is no data on how many people were already big drinkers or drug users before they started their jobs, and how many started using because of their jobs.

So we don't know if working at a hotel drives you to do meth, or if doing meth makes you want to work at a hotel.
