With the Super Bowl coming up this Sunday, here are some facts and records you might, or might not know.

A fact about this year's game:  This is the first time two teams that used to be in the same division have ever met in a Super Bowl.

Denver and Seattle were both in the AFC West Division from 1977-2001, Seattle moved to the NFC West in 2002 after the NFL realignment and expansion to 32 teams.

  • Only one match-up in the Super Bowl can never be repeated - The Jets and Colts were in Super Bowl III.  But after that game in 1970 the AFL and NFL merged and the Colts moved into the AFC with the Jets.
