Woman Puts Her Baby in the Trunk to Avoid a Ticket For No Car Seat

This edition of Stupid Criminals finds a woman who has bad parenting skills plus no ability to prioritize.

According to The Smoking Gun, 19-year-old Breona Synclair Watkins of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida was driving on Tuesday around 1:00 A.M. and had her five-month-old baby with her, but not in a car seat.

When she passed police, they saw she had a headlight out and tried to pull her over, but Breona kept driving several blocks before she eventually stopped.

When police finally caught up and pulled her over, the officer could hear crying, but didn't see a baby. Eventually, he got Breona to open the trunk, and saw her baby inside.

Breona admitted she didn't want to get a ticket for not having a car seat, so she stashed the baby in the trunk by passing it through the armrest in the backseat that folds down.

The baby was in the trunk for about 15 minutes, but fortunately it wasn't hurt.

Breona was arrested and charged with felony child cruelty, resisting an officer, and driving without a license.
