Two East Coast Men Had Criminal Reactions to Barking Dogs

In this edition of Stupid Criminals, we find two men thousands of miles apart that both had criminal reactions to barking dogs within their earshot.

According to Bangor Daily News, 50-year-old Roger Pelletier of Portsmouth, New Hampshire was going crazy because his neighbor's Shih Tzu, Oreo, wouldn't stop barking.

So Pelletier broke into his neighbor's apartment on Friday, to choke Oreo, and the winner of the fight was, Oreo. He didn't just survive being choked, he bit Pelletier several times in the process.

Pelletier was arrested for burglary and cruelty to animals.

According to Tampa Bay Times, 57-year-old Dennis Emery from Pinellas Park, Florida was annoyed by his wife's thirteen border collies and their nonstop barking.

So he grabbed his gun on Tuesday and threatened to shoot one of them. He cocked the gun, accidentally shot himself in the face, and died.

No matter how annoying barking dogs are, try not to resort to criminal activity to resolve the issue, unless you want to shoot your face off.
