Man Shows Up to Court For a Heroin Charge and Brings a Syringe Full of Heroin With Him

In this edition of Stupid Criminals, we find a guy stupid enough to bring syringes full of heroin his court date where he was being arraigned on a heroin charge.

According to the Salem Statesman-Journal, 23-year-old Michael Durban of Salem, Oregon had a court date on Monday.

He was being arraigned on a heroin possession charge and as he went through the security screening to get into the courthouse, guards found hypodermic needles in his pocket, which they believe were full of heroin.

Durban's excuse for having them was, "I got mixed up. I thought I left it in my car."

Obviously, they didn't accept that excuse and he was arrested on a new heroin possession charge.
