Watch out all you Fitbit users, you can't lie about anything you were doing while wearing it. This woman found out first hand.

According to WHTM-TV, 43-year-old Jeannine Risley of St. Petersburg, Florida was staying in the guest room at her boss's house in East Lampeter Township, Pennsylvania back on March 10th.

In the middle of the night she called police claiming a strange man busted into the room, pulled her out of bed, and sexually assaulted her at knife point.

So they launched a massive investigation.  But Jeannine's story eventually started to unravel, thanks to one big clue:  Her Fitbit.

When she claimed she was sleeping, the data actually showed she was walking around.

Police also pointed out there were no footprints in the snow around the house, and no signs of an intruder.

So why would she have made up the story?  Apparently her boss had just told her she would be losing her job.

She was charged with making false reports to law enforcement, false alarms to public safety, and tampering with evidence.
