Stupid Criminals: A Man Uses a Dildo to Rob a Bank

In this edition of Stupid Criminals, we find a guy that uses a dildo disguised as a bomb to rob a bank.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, 35-year-old Aaron Stein went into a PNC Bank in Crafton, Pennsylvania on Monday and claimed he had a bomb.  So a teller gave him some cash, and he ran out.

But the police tracked him down pretty quickly, and found the "bomb" in the seat next to him in his getaway car.

The "bomb" turned out to be a dildo wrapped in duct tape.  Even though he admitted it wasn't actually explosive, the bomb squad had to come in and clear it, just to be on the safe side.

Stein told the cops he had lost all his money in the stock market last week, and needed cash.  He was arrested and he's facing nine felony counts, ranging from aggravated assault to threatening to use a weapon of mass destruction.

To prove he will never live this down, this story will come up whenever anyone Googles his name for the rest of his life, which might be the worst punishment of all.
