Legendary indie-rock label Sub Pop will be staging their 25th anniversary show, dubbed the 'Silver Jubilee,' on July 13 in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood and some of the acts that have helped grow the label have signed on to take part. In a new teaser video, Soundgarden's Kim Thayil, Mudhoney's Mark Arm, TAD's Tad Doyle and veteran producer Jack Endino humorously reveal the event's lineup.

Though not officially confirmed, it appears as though Soundgarden might be the biggest act on the bill. Thayil's inclusion in the video combined with a humorously inaudible portion of the video featuring Doyle mouthing the words "Soundgarden" suggests their involvement. Acts definitely confirmed include Mudhoney, J. Mascis, Afghan Whigs' Greg Dulli, Father John Misty, Pissed Jean, Baptist Generals, Shearwater, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth (featuring Tad Doyle), Endino's Earworm (featuring Jack Endino) and Shabbazz Palaces among others. Along with Soundgarden, there are several other "inaudible" revelations of the bigger named acts that can be viewed in the video below.

In addition to the named performers, more acts are expected to be revealed as the festival nears. The festival will be a free event, and the label states at the show's website, "Along and surrounding Airport Way, we are fairly certain there will be some combination of … actual live bands playing actual live music! Some sort of art-related something or other, like, in a gallery space, we're thinking! A record fair-type event! Food! Beer and wine! (The food and beer and wine and soda or whatever, you will have to pay for! These parts are not free)."

Sub Pop records helped break a lot of influential bands in the '80s and '90s, most notably Nirvana. Stay tuned for more details and check the festival website here for additional information.
