The calendar may say 2015, but it will feel like 1990 all over again this summer when Social Distortion hit the road. The legendary punk band is celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of their most respected discs -- their 1990 self-titled release.

If you need a refresher, let's just roll out the songs you know, love and can sing along to by heart -- "Story of My Life," "Ball and Chain" and that awesome cover of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire." Add in cuts like "Let It Be Me," "It Coulda Been Me" and "Sick Boy," and Social Distortion finally saw their star begin to take off on their third release.

This summer, Social Distortion will head out on a six-week tour where they'll perform the album in full, starting with a show July 28 in Tempe, Ariz. In addition to playing the disc in its entirety, fans will be treated to classic tracks and rarities from Social Distortion's catalog. Nikki Lane and Drag the River will also be part of the run, serving as support for Social D.

Frontman Mike Ness states, "We are very excited about this tour. It’s not often we get to celebrate anniversaries of records, or play them in their entirety, but this record was a milestone for us and after rehearsing it we realized it was a hell of a set ... High energy and good flow. It was a great feeling to play songs that I hadn't played in twenty years, or more. It's inspirational to 'revisit' this album; especially during the writing of a new record. All I can say is ‘it's gonna be a kick ass show!!!!’”

In addition to the headlining dates, you'll also notice that Social Distortion will bring this very special show to the legendary Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, S.D. on Aug. 5 as part of the 75th anniversary of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Tickets for most shows go on sale this Friday (April 24) at 10AM local time. Check here for ticketing links.
