Looks like there's one place where the Confederate flag isn't going anywhere.

After all the issues in the United States regarding Confederate flags, statues, monuments and more, it looks like one place say their flag isn't going anywhere-

Yes, it would be somewhere in the Lone Star state that stands strong and they say that they have good reason. The amusement park says that the Confederate States of America flag has flown over the park since 1961 and is one of the six flags that represent the park. Plus it isn't the Confederate battle flag, which is the flag that's typically flown by white supremacists, KKK members and alt-right. The Confederate States flag has seven stars representing the seven original states of the Confederacy: South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Texas. The Navy Jack aka Rebel, Dixie Cross, (incorrectly labeled) Stars and Bars flag was never actually a flag used to represent the Confederate States of America.

Because of this, the theme park says they believe the flag they fly doesn't represent the negative stereotype involved with the Navy Jack flag. Read more about this at the Houston Chronicle.
